Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban (also referred to as the New Queen Of Drama) is considered by various media outlets to be one of the Philippines most versatile, experienced and well-versed actors. Although the term angelica indicates that just the roots are used, the majority of herb-based medicines and A. archangelica-based products contain the seeds, flowers fruit, and even the whole plant. Typically, Sinensis only uses the root. Angelica was a contestant on America's Got Talent season 12, where she was successful past the initial round of auditions. The performance to Rise Up performed by Andra Days helped her to pass. At the Judge Cuts round, Angelica was awarded a gold buzzer from Guest judges Chris Hardwick after covering Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys, sending her directly to the live show. On the Live Shows, she performed Clarity (by Zedd) in the quarterfinals, as well as without You (by David Guetta) for the Semifinals. Angelica was able to make it to the finals singing Symphony by Clean Bandit. She sang Stronger, along together with Kelly Clarkson, and Kechi Okwuchi during the results. It was her first time as a contestant to finish 2nd. In 2012 when Angelica Hale was just 4 years old, she was very sick with a double pneumonia attributed to a severe strep pneumonia bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston gave her ECMO, a life-saving intervention. She became septic, had kidney failure and organ failure which did not heal. It was her new normal to have hemodialyses as well as peritoneal dialysis. After an 80-day hospital stay, Angelica was almost dead and then on a road to recovery. Angelica's entire life was changed after she underwent dialysis for kidneys. She would receive the donated kidney from her mom. Angelica, along with her mother, went through successful kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two amazing hospitals that were located right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity from the beginning.
